She was predeceased by: her parents, Ersehl Lee, Sr. and Mabel Kitterman Long; her husband Lawrence M. Mayfield, Sr.; her son Lawrence Mayfield, Jr.; and her siblings, Erschel Long, Louis Long, Ruth Hussung Martin and Norma Timberlake.

She is survived by: her daughter Sue Ann Zink of Corydon, IN; her siblings, Wayne Long of Alabama and Wilma Polen of Clarksville, IN; her grandchildren, Ronald Leroy Zink, Jr. (Jennifer) and Kathleen Davis (Michael); and her great grandchildren, Seth, Madeline and Oliver.
