He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Dewey and Iva Jamison Kemple; his wife Mary Knable Kemple; his son John Dewey Kemple; and his siblings, Scottie Kemple, Ray Roberson, Hazel Bye and Alberta Bellamy.
He is survived by: his children, Eric Kemple (Cathy), Twila Henderson (John) and Winifred Harrison; and his grandchildren, Scott Henderson (Renee), Buffy Henderson (Ulises), Jason Henderson (Angela), Kate Harrison, Nick Kemple, Megan Kemple, Sunshine Phares (Kurt) and Adam Kemple (Carol). He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
