He was predeceased by: his father James "Mike" Sowders; and his brother Michael "Shane" Sowders. He is survived by: his wife Pamela M. Sowders; his mother Beverly G. Sowders; his children, Jamie M. Davis (Tyler), Julie F. Sowders (Justin) and J. T. Sowders; his niece Delaney Sowders (Kain); and his great-nephew Kade Loudenslager.
