She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Vittitow and Ernestine Vittitow; her husbands, Joseph Hickey Sr. and David Eubanks; her children, Joseph Jr. and Theresa Hickey; her children-in-law, Ron Sayre, Bob Bailey, Darlene and Kathy Hickey; and her grandchildren, Ronnie, Mike Sayre and Tiffany Hickey.
She is survived by: her friend Peake; and her children, Sharon Sayre, Jan Hodge (Dee), Mickey Bailey, John Hickey and Joe Hickey. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 14 great- grandchildren and 3 great- great-grandchildren.
Memorial Donations in Gertie's name can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
