He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter J. Zehr and Bertha A. Zehr (Hollen); his wife Lillie Lee Zehr (Highfill); and his sisters, Elsie Donavan, Delores Sturgeon, Phyllis Craig and Patricia Sturgeon.
He is survived by: his daughter Michelle E.; his son-in-law Chuck Dyer of Georgetown, Indiana; and his grandsons, Chase of Georgetown, Indiana and Austin Dyer of Georgetown, Indiana. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
