He was predeceased by: his parents, Ottis, Sr. Johnson and Thelma Johnson (Rice); his son Steven Johnson; his siblings, Loretta Dick and Ottis Johnson; and his brother-in-law Richard Dick.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Johnson (Knasel); his children, Belinda Carrico, Donald Johnson (Tammy), Thomas Mousty (Patty), Melody Johnson, Patricia Johnson, James Johnson (Tami) and David Johnson; and his brothers, Irvin Johnson (Vera) and Anthony Johnson (Theresa). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
