He was predeceased by: his parents, John David and Betty Johnson (Forney); and his stepmother Ruth Elizabeth Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Michelle Johnson (Blais); his children, Derek Johnson (Kim) of Bossier City and Erica Kimmel (Will) of Sellersburg; and his grandchildren, Michael, Kylar, William, Waylon and Ella.
Contributions in his memory may be made to the "Tunnel2Towers" charity, which David was a proud supporter.
