He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Smith Freeman and Alphonso Freeman Sr.; his siblings, Vashti Short, Florence Freeman, Rodney Fuller (Butch), Brian Freeman, Richard Hill (Ricky), James Diggs (Ikie) and Linta Jones; his brother-in-law Leroy Parker; and his great grandchild Cori Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Delois Freeman; his children, Alphonso S. Freeman III, Yvette C. Cartwright-Wynn, Janet M. Freeman and Derek D. Freeman; his siblings, Mark Mullen, Darryl Diggs (Cindy), Marsha Diggs, Gregory Freeman (Denise), Gail Parker, Athena Hill, Taunzell Smith, Iris Freeman and Thaddeus Freeman (Kim); his grandchildren, Ryan Cartwright (Kristie), Brittani Thompson and Janique Freeman; and his great grandchildren, Caleb Thompson, Caden Thompson, Kaylin Cartwright and Camden Cartwright. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness (6000 Kirby Rd, Clinton, MD 20735). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
