He was predeceased by: his parents, James McCollum and Lela Isca McCollum (Pace); and his brother Arthur McCollum. He is survived by: his children, Brian McCollum of Berne and Karla "Kim" Reed (Steven) of Linn Grove; his grandchild Michael Lautzenheiser (Natasha Hurley) of Decatur; his great grandchild Mason Lautzenheiser; his stepgrandsons, Caleb Holtrey of Bryan, Logan Holtrey of Decatur, Ambelina Holtrey, Delilah Holtrey and Anika Holtrey; and his brother Ronald McCollum of Geneva.
