He was predeceased by: his father Carl R. "Barney" Long; and his sister Kimberly Hope McCarty. He is survived by: his mother Doris Long; his children, Jared Long (Brianna) and Janessa Ticen (Christopher); his brother Chris R. Long (Leslie); and his brother-in-law Tom McCarty (Mara). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of the donor's choice in memory of Larry.
