He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Mauck and Effie Mauck; his wife Joan Mauck; his son William Mauck; his sister Norma Jean Kirtley; his parents-in-law, William and Marie Pittinger; and his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Pittenger and Dale Martini.
He is survived by: his sons, Mike Mauck (Connie) and David Mauck (Gina); his daughter-in-law Beverly Mauck (Dennis Cunningham); his sister Lois McClurg (Edgar); his brothers-in-law, Jerry Pittenger and Charles Kirtley (Betty); his grandchildren, Melissa Butler (Brad), Jason Mauck (Kortnee), Nick Mauck, Neil Mauck (Britany), McKenzie Mauck (Ryan), Kelsie Morris (Jordan), Ella Mauck and Kurt Thomas; and his nieces and nephews, Jack Russell and Jackie. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Gaston Fire Department, 105 N Sycamore St. Gaston, IN 47342.
