He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Songer and Louise Songer (Grose); his daughter Rita Clock; his siblings, Gerald Songer, Larry Songer, Laura Adams and Emogene Overstreet; and his mother-in-law Dona Roode.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Songer; his children, Steve Songer (Denise) and Kay Oliver (Doug); his grandchildren, Bradley Songer, Rachel Clupper, Noel Gaddis (Jennifer), Doug Firestone (Kerri), Joe A. Clock and Jason Clock; his great grandchildren, Noah, Matthew, Morgan, Lucas, Navah, Dylan, Urijah and Braxton; his siblings, Ruth Tomey, Cathy Fancil, Lois Christian, Burma Massengale, Johnny Songer, Samuel Songer and Robert Songer; and his brothers-in-law, Roy Roode and Timothy Roode. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
