She was predeceased by: her children, David Johnathan Oren Thompson and Dennis Hardesty; and her sisters, Mildred Elizabeth Murray of Elwood and Sena May Reynolds of Speedway. She is survived by: her grandfather Loveless; her children, Joyce Ilene Norrick (Dave) of Muncie and Richard Laverne Hardesty of Muncie; her daughter-in-law Pat Hardesty of Fruitland, FL; and also, Delpha May Wardwell (Loveless) and Myrtle. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
