He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Hoppel; his children, Cheryl Mathias (Harold) of Marion, Debbie Fortman (Jim) of Indianapolis and Greg Meyers (Susie Ruley) of Mier; his grandchildren, Abby Donovan (Shawn), Molly Mathias (Brendan Jones), Allison Elkins and Michael Mathias (Meagan); his great grandchildren, Josh, Alex, Melanie, Jaxyn, Jack, Jordyn and Alice; and his great great grandchildren, Evelyn and Harlow.
