He is survived by: his wife Christine McDonough (Bir); his daughters, Molly Rama McDonough Carson (Simeon), Madeline Claire McDonough-Fleace (Matthew) and Rebecca Lane Ferguson (Hayden); and his grandchildren, Dylan, Eva Carson, Aquila and Isadora Fleace.
