He was predeceased by: his parents, Buell O. Wilkerson and Leta F. Wilkerson (Leak); his father-in-law Jim Tharp (Ruth); his brother-in-law Mike Tharp (Libby); his son-in-law Heath P. Haisley; and his nephews, Mike Tharp, Jr. and Dougie Wilkerson.
He is survived by: his cousin Leonard; his wife Belinda "Slim" Wilkerson of Gas City; his children, Buell Richard Wilkerson (Tammy) of Jonesboro and Freedom Rogers (Lennie) of Jonesboro; his grandchildren, Austin Haisley of Gas City, Aaron Walker of Gas City, Zoey Haisley of Gas City and Alissa Jacobs of Marion; his great grandchildren, Tyrese, Tyvon, Trey and Trent; his siblings, Rosie Kegg (Mike), Margaret Scott (Dicki), Donna Bellus (late John), Dorothy Wilkerson (David), Orval Wilkerson (Cali), Gary Wilkerson (Yolanda) and Andy Wilkerson; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Walker (Larry) of LaFontaine and Jim Tharp (late Diane). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
