It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Beedy of Gas City, Indiana, born in Swayzee, Indiana, who passed away on August 10, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Jackson Smith and Bonita Burnsworth (Cummings); her husband Paul J. Beedy; her son Eric Beedy; and her siblings, Larry Burnsworth, Ronald Burnsworth, Charles Burnsworth and Carolyn Best.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie J. Schlecht of Spokane and Sheila Smith (Jerry) of Ft. Wayne; her sister-in-law Sue Ellen Burnsworth of Marion; her grandchildren, Krista, Tyrell Schlecht, Andrew Smith and Matthew Smith (Chelsea); and her great grandchild Arlen Gauge Smith.
