It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Morton W. Purvis of Gas City, Indiana, born in Marion, Indiana, who passed away on September 22, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Purvis and Lavada Bobo (Riddle); and his wife Elaine J. Baird. He is survived by: his children, Robin Purvis of LaFontaine, Traci Purvis of LaFontaine and Jessica Purvis of Gas City; his sister Brenna; his aunt Betty Riddle (late Walter); and his close friend Old Man Carl. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
