It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Irene Shanks of Gas City, Indiana, born in Marion, Indiana, who passed away on May 28, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Milford H. Carl and Jennie M. Carl (Banter). She is survived by: her husband Gary Shanks; her sons, Greg Shanks (Connie) and Jeff Shanks (Alicia); her grandchildren, Joshua Shanks, Clair Goodwin and Zachery Shanks; and her great grandchildren, Braydon Shanks, Caydon Shanks, Landen Shanks, Grayson Shanks and Kynnleigh Shanks.
