He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence C. Colyer and Phoebe Colyer (Malott); his son Joe Colyer; and his siblings, Martha Stafford, Phyllis Keeling, Anna Rose Rice, Kenneth Colyer and Russell Colyer.
He is survived by: his spouse Sharon Mclain; his children, Melody Leckron (Kris) of Fairmount, Michael Colyer (Diann) of Gas City, JoAnn Maynard (Rex), Dennis Banks (Becky) and David Banks (Patti); his daughter-in-law Trisha Colyer of Gas City; his grandchildren, Jacob Leckron, Kailey Whitenack (Jacob), Heather Oatis, Tyler Colyer, Justin Colyer (Hannah), Sam Colyer, Jessica Colyer (Josh Whitaker), Sunny Colyer, Daniel Vandiver, Tony Vandiver, Amy Nicolai (Chad), Stephanie Auler, Staci Vetor (Nick), Brandon Banks, Brooke Richardson (Josh), Kati Van (Ryan) of Putte and Kelcie Banks; and his sisters-in-law, Martha, Janet Colyer of Gas City, Barbara Brown of Jonesboro and Linda Kidwell (Kevin). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
