It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet E. McWhirt of Gas City, Indiana, born in Jonesboro, Indiana, who passed away on August 22, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Marion; her husband Robert E. McWhirt; and her son Brian McWhirt. She is survived by: her sons, Chris McWhirt (Pam) of Fort Wayne and Matthew McWhirt of Woodburn, OR; her grandchildren, Kristin McWhirt, Bethany Sykes, Caitlin McWhirt, Winston McWhirt, Natalie McWhirt, Jennifer McGeever (Matt), Jon Boroff (Michelle) and Joey Boroff; and her sisters, Virginia Armstrong and Mary Carolyn Riggs (Larry). She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
