It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glen L Atkinson (Gas City, Indiana), who passed away on December 13, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Atkinson and Hazel Atkinson (Mitchell); his wife Betty Atkinson; his children, Christopher Atkinson and Leslie Barker; his children-in-law, Don Nichols and Mary Atkinson; his siblings, Roy, Ralph, Gail, Guy, Carl, Beryl, Claude, John and Doris Rice; and his grandsons, Glen Atkinson II and Coleman Barker.
He is survived by: his children, Gregory Atkinson of Safety Harbor, FL, Ann Nichols of Paw Paw, MI and Tracy Westervelt (David) of Kalamazoo, MI; and his grandchildren, Max Atkinson, Amanda Atkinson, Andrew Atkinson, Toni Westervelt, Ethan Westervelt (Emily), Kelly Westervelt, Alexander Westervelt (Jessica) and Sherman Barker. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
