He is survived by: his sons, Gregory Shanks (Connie) and Jeffrey Shanks (Alicia); his siblings, Patty Stebbens, Denny Shanks, Cindy Butler, Tony Shanks and Bradley Shanks; his grandchildren, Joshua Shanks, Zachery Shanks (Martina) and Clair Goodwin; his great grandchildren, Braydon Shanks, Caydon Shanks, Landen Shanks, Graysen Shanks and Kynnleigh Shanks; and his close friends, Roger Blackburn and Kevin Roseberry.
