She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Smith and Laura Smith (Sanders); her husband Victor Vernon Humes; and her siblings, Guy, Russell, Nancy, Katherine, William, Martha, Susan, Clara, Ellen and Wayne.
She is survived by: her sisters, Roberta Willis of Marion and Beatrice Baker of New Haven. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
