He is survived by: his wife Lori Sprong; his daughter Morgan; his nephew Jacob Mansbarger (Stephanie); his sisters, Susan Weismantel and Linda Long (Ed); and his parents-in-law, Sue Simpkins (Terry Johnson), Gina Whelchel (Bill) and Russ Sprong (Theresa).
