With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darrell Dane Jones of Gas City, Indiana, born in Marion, Indiana, who passed away on February 27, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Jones (Agnes) and Martelle Jones-Collins (Speece); his wife Rosemary Mellendorf; and his brother Donald Jones. He is survived by: his children, Christy, Sandy Miller (Steve), David Jones (Jane) and Shawn Scalf (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Sheila, Susie and Rex. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
