With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlene Davis of Gas City, Indiana, born in Booneville, Mississippi, who passed away on October 28, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles McCarter and Katie McCarter (Free); her husband Ronald Dean Davis; her daughter Tracy Lee Ross; and her brother Harvey McCarter.
She is survived by: her children, Toni Poe-Hounsel of Kilgore, TX, Charlie Poe, Jr. (Clarissa) of Ormond Beach, FL and Greg Poe (Tammy) of Gas City; her grandchildren, Hope M. Poe, Greg Poe, Jr. (Alex), Heather Paige Hounsel and Kashena Steele; and her siblings, Betty West, Barbara Helpling and Roy McCarter (Debbie). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
