It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lou Michael (Gas City, Indiana), born in Hartford City, Indiana, who passed away on June 9, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Lee and Hazel Johnson (Hart); her husband Charles Philip Michael; her grandchildren, Kylene and Derek Michael; and her siblings, Virgil, Harry, Fred, George Johnson, Harriet Bragg and Carrie Copsey.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Atkinson (Bill), Steven Michael (Marion), Lisa Smith (Andy) of Spring Lake, MI and Brian Michael (Renee); her grandchildren, Jette, Kate, Sarah, Marcy, Wade, Jordan, Amanda, Lindsay, Brad, Brett, Brittani and Brooklyn; and her siblings, James, Thomas Johnson and Elizabeth Cupp. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
