It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Baxter A Potter of Gas City, Indiana, born in Scottsboro, Alabama, who passed away on March 15, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Potter and Suzie Potter (Brownfield); his wife Anna Potter; his sons, Steve Potter, Baxter Dean Potter and Robert Potter; his granddaughter Robin Bledso; his great great grandchild Aiden Potter; and his sister Geneva Shockey of Jonesboro.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Heil (John) of Marion, David Potter of Gas City, Joyce of Indianapolis and Mark Burke; and his nephew Tom Basham. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
