It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara D Hobbs of Gas City, Indiana, born in Alexandria, Indiana, who passed away on October 3, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Pherson and Edna Pherson (Mittendorf); her former husband Willis Blunk; her husband Noble Dale Hobbs, Jr.; and her siblings, Mary Hampton, Ralph Pherson and Donald Pherson.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Porter of Temple, TX, Steve Blunk (Debra) of Marion, Alan Blunk (Holly) of Fishers, Don Blunk of Pasadena, CA, Kara P. Hobbs of Gas City, Nathaniel Hobbs (Melissa) of Gas City and Reanne A. Hobbs of Marion; her sisters, Virginia Mattingly and Annetta Montgomery (Ted); and her close friend Sandra Eads. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
