He was predeceased by: his father Alex Metcalfe of Sulligent Ala; and his brother Samuel Metcalfe of Gary. He is survived by: his wives, Imogene Henry and Imogene Metcalfe (Henry) of Gary; his children, Darian Collins of Merriville, Constance Harris (Sam) of Hammond, Jeffrey Metcalfe of Indianapolis and Willington Ray Metcalfe Jr (Lawanda) of Indianapolis; his mother Essie Metcalfe of Sulligent Alabama; and his siblings, Lola Buckingham (Howard) of Gary, Netter Buckingham of Gary, Joyce Metcalfe (Albert) of Sulligent Ala, Gloria Johnson (Randolph) of Sulligent Ala, Nora Stallings of Aurora, David Metcalfe of Sulligent Ala and Gabriel Metcalfe (Nettie) of Sulligent Ala. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
