He was predeceased by: his wife Diane Culver; his parents, Omega and Verdell Davis, Sr.; his siblings, Jerome Davis and Carman Ware; his brother-in-law Squire Dixon; and his aunt Aggernora McDaniel Sumerall.
He is survived by: his son Verdell Davis (Yolanda) of Meridian; his grandchildren, Skylar Davis, India Davis, Ledarrius Brewer and Tyron Brewer; and his siblings, Tyrone Davis, Brian Davis, Donna Dixon of Gary, IN, Pamela Stalling (Kenneth) of Gary, IN and Candis Cummings (Roger) of Lansing, MI. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
