He is survived by: his children, Ramona, Ellery, Debora, Sharon Binns-Magee (Darrell), Samuel (Charlie Vern Binns, Sr.) and Cleophas Binns; his wife Veronica Binns (Ronnie); his sister Bobbie Dunlap; his son Charles Binns (Chris); his stepchildren, Robert Nichols, Jr., Reshanta Nichols, Renetta Taylor (Tracee) and Jennifer Jones; and his close friend Reginald Smith (Shug). He is also survived by grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
