He is survived by: his daughter Cassidy Mebert; his mother Yolanda Chabes; and his siblings, Blas Lara (Monique), Jesse Chabes, Michael Chabes (April), Richard Chabes (Maryann), Yvonne Rivera, Elaine Lopez Martinez (Runalfo), Guadalupe Walker and Nancy Leija (Daniel). He is also survived by pet companion, "Bo"; numerous nieces and nephews.
