He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Whittington; his children, Dennis Whittington, Howard Whittington (Trenell) and Carmeshia Whittington; and his siblings, Flossie Davis, Mary Hammer, Allen Whittington, Helen Pegues, Carl Whittington (Eunice), Marva Jean Hill (Glake) and Alva Wilder. He is also survived by six grandchildren. 2 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
