She was predeceased by: her parents, Chauncey Jarrett and Jessie Theresa Simpson; her husband George Ellis Franklin; her son Mark Franklin; and her brothers, Richard Howell and Rolland Simpson.
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Susan Howell and Maria Rodriguez. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, along with many enduring friends.
