He was predeceased by: his parents, Serge Nelson and Mildred Elvera Nelson (Larson); and his son James Nelson. He is survived by: his brother Floyd Nelson (Jacqueline) of Porter, IN; his grandson Aaron Nelson; his nephews, Darren and Jason Nelson; and his close friends, Wendel and Karen Szczerba of Chesterton, IN.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Inc. of Iron River (405 W Cayuga St, Iron River, MI 49935).
