She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jose A. Silva, Sr.; her children, Joe Silva (Betty Jo), Alma Hrdina (Larry), Abel Silva, Sr. (Cruz), Marie Castellano (Ray), John Silva (Marilyn), Sue Silva and Xavier Silva, Sr.; and her sister Helen Gonzalez.

Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kuiper Funeral Home (9039 Kleinman Rd, Highland, IN 46322). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church of Griffith (525 N Broad St, Griffith, IN 46319).
