She was predeceased by: her parents, Santos Pagan and Silveria Pagan; her husband Enrique O. Nieves; her stepmother Monserrat; her son Henry Ortiz, III; her grandson Wilfredo Almodovar, II; and her children-in-law, Manuel Garcia and Rafaela Ortiz.
She is survived by: her children, Margarita Lugo (Angel) of McDonough, GA., Consuelo Garcia of North Port, FL., Isabelita Fraticelli of Gary, IN., Mary Pagan of Bourbonnais, IL., Mildred Strong (Lynn) of Gary, IN., Martha Merced of Hobart, IN., William Ortiz of Portage, IN., Nancy Bigley (Dana) of Naples, FL. and John Ortiz. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; and 10, soon to be 12 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
