She was predeceased by: her parents, Abraham Torres and Josefa Menchaca; her siblings, Manuel Sanchez, Josephine Martinez, Abraham Torres, Alvaro Torres and Jesus Torres; and her son Alexander M. Mondragon.
She is survived by: her children, Alicia Mondragon, Mario Mondragon (Renee), George Mondragon (Lynn), Arthur Mondragon (Libby), Gustavo Mondragon, Teresa Gonzalez (David) and Francisco Gonzalez (Wes). She is also survived by grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ridgelawn Funeral Home (4201 W Ridge Rd, Gary, IN 46408). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
