He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sister Bessie Carpenter; his wife Patricia; his children, Terri Ewing (Ted), Michelle Carpenter-Freeman, Tracy Carpenter-Bond (Albert) and Yolanda Cherry (Tracton); and his siblings, Frances Carpenter, George Carpenter, WillieAnn Carpenter and MaryAnn Riley. He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
