We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2018, at the age of 94, Leandea James-Brumfield (Gary, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Wilbert Brumfield; her child Ira Jean Currie; and her grandson Vincent Scott Currie. She is survived by: her children, Eddie Lee Nichols (Earline), Eddie Earl Nichols, Delphine Slater, Kim Hardin, David Brumfield and Judy Bell; and her sisters, Eldora Ayers, Dixie Lee Baker and Nettie Lee Parker. She is also survived by grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
