She was predeceased by: her parents, Tomas Paez and Maxima Paez; her spouse Enrigue Morquecho, Sr.; and her son Henry Morquecho. She is survived by: her children, Virginia Bertelsen (Bruce), Sylvia Arevalo (Julio), Gustavo Jesus Morquecho and Gerardo Alonzo Morquecho; her grandchildren, Brian Bertelsen (Kristen), Brett Jason Bertelsen, Julian Enrique Arevalo, Tea Marie Morquecho, Arial Berenice Morquecho, Rubi Gabriela Morquecho and Sara Edith Morquecho; and her great grandchildren, Tyler John Bertelsen, Arabella Rose Bertelsen and Theodore Huxley Bertelsen.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ridgelawn Funeral Home (4201 W Ridge Rd, Gary, IN 46408). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
