He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Rivera and Maria Rivera; his siblings, Juan Rivera, Myrta Barriffe, Anna Rivera and Michael Rivera; and his niece Katie Atkins.
He is survived by: his wife Sonia Rivera; his siblings, Robert Rivera (Leanne), Carmen Adams, Samuel Rivera (Anna), Margaret Leytham (Terry), Elizabeth Atkins (Eric), Jacqueline Shroyer (Scott), Thomas Rivera (Lolita) and Susan Rivera-Molinaro (Marco); and his siblings-in-law, Lisa Rivera, Sylvia Kramer (Joe) and Alex Nokovic (Michal). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family members, friends, and two biological children.
