He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; and his sons, Brandon and Winston. He is survived by: his son Tederick James (Denice); his grandchildren, Lutece Ahrens (Jonathan), Bryston James, Asante James (Kaelyn) and Derrick Nicholas; his brothers, President James Washington, Clifford James (Patricia) and Maryland Wash; his mother-in-law Louise Rias; his siblings-in-law, Sylvester Rias, Curtis Rias (LaShawn), Frankie Brown (Elbert), Florine, Battle, Ruby Rias and Dorothy James; his goddaughter Cynthia Elaine Gulley; and his friend Leon Walker. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, oher relatives and friends.
