Sumpter of Gary and Ashley Sumpter of Gary; his significant other Orlise Prayer; his great grandchildren, Corday Hines, Bobby Vanhorn Jr, Shawn-Jene, Larion, Javon, Jacolbi Hampton, Jeremiah and Nikka Roberson; his great great grandchild King Hampton; his sisters, Mary Harris (Diaz Ak) and Helen Martin; and his child Larry L. Hill.
