He is survived by: his wife Martha Ortiz; his children, Dr. Gerardo X., Jr., David and Melanie Ortiz; his brothers, Arty (Eva), Rudolph "Buster" (LuAnn), Eddie (Rhonda) and Ray Ortiz; his siblings-in-law, Rose Mary Antonacopulos, Sonia Lopez (Brian Barrios) and Richard Perez (Mary); and his nieces and nephews, Niko, Crystal, Vincent, Richard Jr. (Patty), Jessica (Jaime), Marcella, Julia, Angie, Holly, Eddie, Jr., Rudy and Justin.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, only 50 people will be allowed to attend services. Masks and social distancing are required.
