He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Marie Helton; and his siblings, Sonny Helton, Elmer Helton, Betty Hammonds, Nancy Hammonds, Doc Helton and Billie Whaley.

He is survived by: his daughters, Carolyn Schillke (Brian) and Kathleen Aumiller; his grandchildren, Brian Schillke (Shannon), Elizabeth Smith (Joshwa), Natasha Jakima and Patricia Jakima; his great grandchildren, Wyatt Smith, Lynnox Smith, Morgan Schillke, Ephraim Schillke, Angel Love and Ariona Pitts; his great great grandchildren, Micah Love and Avia Love; and his siblings, Joyce Smith and Butch Helton. He is also survived by his family and his church family.
