He was predeceased by: his sister Stella Tripodis (Dennis); and also Theresa Christos (Manuel). He is survived by: his wife Catheron A. Paras; his children, Phillip G. Paras, Deanna Paras and Christos G. Paras (Amanda); his grandchildren, George C. Paras II and Theodora Paras; his siblings, Steve Zaharias (Carol) and Irene Santos; his nieces and nephews, Dino Tripodis (Connie), Maria Atsas, George Zaharias (Nerrin), Diana Burlingame (Steven), John Christos (Kim), Chris Zacharias (Panorea) and Helene Tripodis (John); and his friends, Harry Frank, Ken Woodside, Dan Bozich, George Kolletis and George Dovellos. He is also survived by many cousins and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Cutting Edge Foundation, dedicated to providing funding for revolutionary surgical procedures and research to advance the art of surgery, founder Dr. Enrico Benedetti.
