She was predeceased by: her father Curtis Pearson; her grandson Christian Wheaton; and her sisters, Linda K. Owens and Henrietta Rollins. She is survived by: her husband Terry W. Moten of Gary; her mother Lorine Pearson; her children, Loyshay Boone Michelle (Charles) and Terri Moten; her sister Viola Moten; her brother-in-law Derryn (Inga); her siblings, Curtis Pearson Kenneth (Cheryl), Pearson Williams, Calvin Williams, Naomi Allen Tarsha (Richard) and Mardrell Wise; and her grandchild Derrick Kylond-Keanu Sariyah.
